Stephen King.
2. What attracted you to bookselling?
My dad started the business about 45 years ago because of my mom’s love for books.
3. What's your favourite bookselling war story?
Not sure I have a war story. Maybe working with family for four generations. LOL.
4. What is the most pressing issue facing bookselling today?
Getting the message out for people to shop locally at brick and mortar stores.
5. What forthcoming book are you most excited about?
Hmmm … maybe Holly by Stephen King. Although Prairie: Seasonal, Farm-Fresh Recipes Celebrating the Canadian Prairies sounds amazing!
BONUS: An aunt comes in looking for a gift for her niece, who likes embroidery and Proust, just got a new job on a cruise line, and whose beloved schnauzer just passed away. What do you recommend?
Nights of Plague by Orhan Pamuk.
