Our intern Jordyn is departing for new horizons this week, but not before she shared with us what she learned during her time with BookNet (and some excellent Star Wars gifs).

That's a wrap, folks!
Intern extraordinaire Jamie Ferrin is entering the last weeks of her BookNet internship. Though our time together is coming to a close, we're going to miss Jamie a lot. She takes a moment in this post to reflect on everything she's experienced at the BNC office while we interject meaningless .gifs into her heartfelt statements (sorry Jamie).
Let's get ready to rumble!
Use the reports, Luke
An Excel-lent start to a new internship!
Getting ready for PubFight 2015
PubFight 2014: A post mortem
Before the PubFight season began, we compiled a list of titles that went for top dollar at the Fakefurt auction. After the auction, we asked you to vote on which nominated title would sell the most copies during the PubFight season (September 2014 - January 2015).
Now, after many intense weeks filled with trials and triumphs, regrets and “out of stock” induced tears, the results are in and it’s time to see how well you know the Canadian book market.
I'll Never Be the Same
Our research intern Sarah Lye shares the highs and hurdles of her last few months at BookNet and how they’ve changed her forever. Take it away, Sarah!
This experience I’ve had as the BookNet intern has been wonderful in many ways: geeky, friendly, professional, and full of networking goodness. I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity and want to share with you how some of the things I’ve done and learned are going to change me forever.
PubFight 2014: People's Choice Poll
There’s no rush quite like the one you get from the start of a new PubFight season. The thrill of outbidding everyone for the new hockey memoir, the anticipation of setting your initial print runs, the panicked scramble to reprint when a title on your list becomes a crossover hit and you’re caught with an empty warehouse.
BookNet’s fantasy publishing league is open to anyone with SalesData access. But if you don’t have SalesData access, or you missed this year’s registration deadline, all is not lost!
