Yesterday was #ArtsDay 2016. Arts delegates from across the country and Canadian Arts Coalition members met with MPs and other representatives to talk about the arts and Canadian digital culture.
They shared some key messages with the government, referencing budget investments in arts and culture, the exportation of Canadian art worldwide, and accessibility issues surrounding digital access.
Because not every artist or culture worker could be there in person to contribute to the conversation, #ArtsDay brought the conversation to Twitter where more opinions and voices were solicited. The Canadian Arts Coalition hosted the chat and brought in guest tweeters to address each question.
