Women will be front-and-centre at books-meet-tech conferences

Toronto, ON – March 14, 2016 – Talks on neuromarketing and diversity from Diana Lucaci and Kaya Thomas

Women will be front-and-centre at Tech Forum 2016, an annual conference on digital developments in the book publishing industry, taking place April 1, 2016 in downtown Toronto. From keynote sessions to panels, well over 50% of speakers will be women talking about book publishing, technology, and marketing. On March 30-31, ebookcraft, Tech Forum's conference-within-a-conference on ebooks, will also be 50/50 designated for the second year in a row.

Tech Forum's opening keynote will feature Diana Lucaci, founder and CEO of True Impact, talking about humanizing the reader using innovations in neuromarketing. Later that day, Kaya Thomas, the woman behind the We Read Too iOS app, will be presenting her talk on technology as an equalizer. The full schedule with speakers for both events can be found at techforum.booknetcanada.ca.

Both events will be held at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, and registration closes on March 15. For more information, please visit techforum.booknetcanada.ca
