BookNet Canada Speaker Series Examines the Future of Canadian Publishing

TORONTO - May 24, 2007 - On Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Gladstone Hotel, BookNet Canada is presenting the premiere event in the BookNet Canada Speaker Series 2007.

The BNC Speaker Series is a new forum for book industry professionals to share their insight on how emerging technologies are impacting the Canadian book industry. Our first presentation features Steve Osgoode of HarperCollins Canada and Malle Vallik of Harlequin Enterprises who will be discussing how publishers can best respond to changing consumer desires with The Real eReaders: Determining the Needs of Digital Consumers.

Doors will open at 3:30pm and the presentations will run from 4:00-5:00pm. A cash-bar networking reception will be held following the event in the front bar at the Gladstone Hotel.
