Last Thursday, September 18, 2008, BookNet Canada and the Association of Book Publishers of BC were very happy to host a day of great speakers committed to finding innovative ways to market books online and effective ways to measure the results of campaigns.
We’ll be posting slides (and hopefully audio) on our Defining Success: Online Marketing for Book Publishing page in the next few days but in the meantime, you can get a great overview of some of the topics covered at the Boxcar Marketing blog.
Created by the incomparable Monique Trottier, who was also a celebrated speaker at the event, the Boxcar Marketing blog is a great way to get the goods even if you weren’t there (or review them if you were). Monique’s summary of four of the day’s presentations are here:
- Monique Trottier: 4 Myths About Online Marketing, 7 Sentence Marketing Plan
- Ehren Cheung: Blogs, Context and Collaboration
- Evan Munday: Marketing Events on Facebook
- Genevieve Brennan: Google Tools You Can Use
Thanks to everyone who made the day a success!
