The New York Public Library has installed an Espresso Book Machine in their Science, Industry and Business Library and is letting patrons print their own public domain books. This is a nice boost for the woefully undermarketed Espresso, which is truly one of those gotta-see-to-believe inventions. True, you have to go to New York City to see for yourself, but even so, the idea of walking into the library, saying “Whip me up a copy of ‘Songs of Innocence’, my good man” and walking out the door a few minutes later is nothing short of science fiction.
