If you’re keeping track of the Automated Content Access Protocol (ACAP) project, then check out the page for their Final Conference which happened last week before they launch into full implementation.
I’m not entirely certain how book publishers will use this protocol, but it probably is more relevant to those pushing actual book content on their websites, but who do not wish it to be all over Google and other search engines. It is somehow relevant though, as at least a few book publishing companies are on board with ACAP.
If you already know you want to implement this, then head over to Implement ACAP to begin.
I’d love to see your comments on how you are using, or plan to use, this protocol, and whether it works for you.
