Facebook has come forward with a long-predicted corporate ad strategy this week which allows users to advertise their product preferences and purchases on their personal pages.
Corporations and other businesses will also be able to create company pages similar to the personal pages and embed code on outside sites to enable Facebook users buying or interacting with their business a quick way to post the transaction on their profile.
I suspect these are features that will work better for movies, books and other cultural experiences than say, Hanes. Although from what I see in the Facebook community, I really dare not speak too soon.
