SalesData tracks print book sales for the Canadian trade market. LibraryData is included with access to SalesData. Pricing depends on your type of account. (Though it’s free for all contributing retailers!)

We do not provide access to SalesData for authors, students, or the general public, but we do have public resources and welcome media requests. Authors: Please read these FAQs to learn more about what tools may be right for you.

LibraryData collects weekly circulation data from over 80 public libraries across Canada representing approximately 25% of the Canadian English-language population. Library staff, their suppliers, and publishers can use LibraryData to investigate trends, identify collection opportunities, and more. SalesData is included with access to LibraryData.

Anyone can browse and search public catalogues, but CataList accounts have additional features available to support the needs of the Canadian book trade. Basic accounts are free for book retailers, librarians and professional reviewers! Tell us a bit about how you want to use CataList.

BiblioShare is a data aggregation service for ONIX, image, and position files that provides support to the Canadian book supply chain. Please note: Metadata can only be sent using ONIX. Learn more about ONIX, or our Webform tool for easy ONIX creation.

Web services provide bibliographic data in various forms for blogs, retailers, media, publishers/distributors, and other websites. If you would like to access data from our BiblioShare database, please fill out this form to receive a token.

Webform is an easy-to-use online tool that allows small operations to create and manage book metadata, without messing around with complex ONIX files. Once you’ve created your records in Webform, you can export them to BiblioShare with just a few clicks.
